Credit Transfer
If you hold previous academic qualifications or professional learning, you may be eligible to transfer credits — reducing your study time and overall tuition cost at South Stafford College.
What is Credit Transfer / RPL?
Credit Transfer — also known as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) — is SSC's formal process for recognising academic credits or learning already achieved elsewhere. Successful recognition can:
Reduce the total number of modules required
Shorten your overall programme duration
Lower your total tuition cost proportionally
Enrol at an advanced stage of the programme

How to Apply for Credit Transfer

Request an RPL Assessment Form
Contact our admissions team to request the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment form. Provide a brief summary of your prior qualifications and learning.

Submit Your Evidence Portfolio
Compile and submit your transcripts, certificates, syllabi from prior study, and professional evidence. Full guidance is provided with the form.

Academic Review (5–10 Working Days)
Our academic team assesses your submission and determines how many credits can be formally recognised. You will receive a written outcome letter.

Revised Offer Letter Issued
If credit transfer is approved, a revised offer letter is issued reflecting your adjusted programme duration and tuition cost.
