These Terms apply to all visitors, enquirers, applicants, enrolled students, and other users of SSC digital platforms. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Student Handbook. SSC reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

2. Use of the Website

You may use the South Stafford College website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, infringes the rights of others, or could damage, disable, or impair the website.

  • Using the site to transmit unsolicited commercial communications
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
  • Harvesting or collecting personal data about other users without consent
  • Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the website

4. Student Obligations

Enrolled students are subject to additional obligations set out in the Student Handbook, provided upon enrolment. By enrolling at South Stafford College, students agree to:

  • Comply with the Academic Integrity Policy and avoid all forms of plagiarism, collusion, or academic misconduct
  • Treat all staff, tutors, and fellow students with dignity and respect
  • Use the LMS and academic platforms only for lawful, academic purposes
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during admissions and throughout their studies
  • Comply with all programme requirements, assessment deadlines, and tuition payment obligations
  • Notify SSC promptly of any changes to personal details or circumstances affecting their studies
  • Not share LMS login credentials or allow any other person to access their student account
5. Academic Integrity

All assessed work submitted by students must be their own original work, properly referenced where it draws on the work of others.

The use of AI writing tools in assessments is subject to SSC's AI Use Policy (set out in the Student Handbook). Undisclosed use of AI-generated content in assessed submissions may be treated as academic misconduct. Confirmed cases may result in a mark of zero, module failure, suspension, or termination of enrolment.

6. Fees, Payments and Refunds

All tuition fees and charges are set out in the offer letter and enrolment documentation. By accepting an offer and enrolling, students agree to pay all applicable fees in accordance with their agreed payment plan.

Application processing fees are non-refundable. Students who withdraw from a programme after enrolment may be entitled to a partial refund of tuition fees depending on the point of withdrawal, as set out in the Withdrawal and Refund Policy in the Student Handbook.

SSC reserves the right to withdraw access to the LMS and academic resources in the event of outstanding tuition payments.

7. Limitation of Liability

The content on the South Stafford College website is provided for general information purposes only. South Stafford College will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this website, to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.

SSC does not accept liability for the content of any external websites linked from this site. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
